Chinese late-November long steel prices rise sharply
Driven by recent strong market conditions, Chinese long steel producers have announced a sharp increase in longs offers for late November, Kallanish notes.
For rebar, Shagang and Yonggang both increased by CNY 300/tonne, and Zenith increased by CNY 320/t. The three steelmakers respectively lifted offers for high-speed wire rod and rebar in coil by CNY 150/t, CNY 300/t and CNY 320/t.
