Chinese long steel prices diverge in early December
Chinese ex-works prices for long products are diverging in early December, Kallanish notes.
Shagang has remained bullish and has increased all offers for long steel by CNY 50/tonne ($7.1/t) for the first ten days of December. Zenith, however, has cut CNY 50/t from rebar prices and CNY 100/t from high-speed wire rod and rebar in coil offers.
