Chinese long steel offers turn to increase
Ex-factory prices for construction steel in eastern China saw a rebound in mid-June after weeks of decline.
Shagang, Zenith and Yonggang, the major long steel producers in eastern China, reported increases of CNY 100-150/t ($14-21/t) in their long steel offers for the second ten days of June, Kallanish notes. Meanwhile, the mills suspended providing sales subsidies to their agents in the reporting period.
