Chinese late-July longs offers remain stable
Chinese long steel producers have kept offers stable, supported by expectations of reduced supply. Demand has however not yet seen an improvement, Kallanish notes.
Major mills in eastern China, Shagang, Zenith and Yonggang, have all kept rebar offers unchanged. Yonggang, however, has lifted its wire rod and rebar in coil offers by CNY 30/tonne ($4.3/t), while the other mills kept their quotes flat.
