Chinese HRC prices deteriorate in Vietnam
Chinese hot rolled coil prices slumped further in Vietnam last week as bearishness hit the Chinese domestic market, Kallanish notes. Some exporters were seen to be trying to lift offers slightly when Chinese steel futures prices stabilised towards the end of the week.
Offers for China-origin 3-12mm thickness Q235 grade HRC were prevailing at $520/tonne cfr Vietnam on Friday. Suppliers are inviting bids at $518/t cfr, a trader in Ho Chi Minh City says. Q235 offers …
