Chinese house prices show continued recovery
Chinese house prices were up year-on-year in 58 of 70 cities surveyed and unchanged in only one in July, according to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). The recovery in prices is an important development for future construction steel demand but investment figures have slowed sharply since earlier this year, Kallanish notes.
15 cities saw the price of new homes increase by more than 10% from a year earlier, including the new hot locations Hefei and Nanjing.…
