Chinese futures retreat but NSSMC expects strong year
Chinese steel futures prices retreated slightly on Thursday’s after a strong week, especially for rebar. Japan’s Nippon Steel and Sumitomo Metal Corporation (NSSMC) meanwhile has stated that it expects Chinese steel prices to remain high at least until the autumn, Kallanish notes.
