China's shipbuilding completions slow in September

China's shipbuilding completions fell again from highs in September, and new orders also declined during the same period. Orders on hand however continued to grow. According to the China Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry (CANSI), shipbuilding completions in China reached 30.74 million deadweight tonnes in January-September, up by 10.6% y-o-y but slower than the growth achieved in the first eight months.
