China's shipbuilding completions rebound in October
China's shipbuilding completions accelerated in October. However, new orders during the same period dropped faster compared with September.
According to the China Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry (CANSI), shipbuilding completions in China reached 34.56 million deadweight tonnes in January-October, up by 12% y-o-y. Completions in October only were 3.82m dwt, surging by 38.4% from a month before.
