China's shipbuilding completions fall back in July
China's shipbuilding completions in July fell from the June peak, and new orders declined significantly from the previous month on slowing market activity.
According to the China Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry (CANSI), China's shipbuilding completions reached 20.85 million deadweight tonnes in January-July, expanding the year-on-year drop to 13.8%. Completions in July were only 2.35m dwt, down by 44.3% from June.…
