China warns against replacing induction furnace capacity
China has imposed more strict restrictions on mislabelled steel capacity, according to the 2017 Steel Industry Development Forum. These include warnings against adding electric arc furnace capacity to replace induction furnaces and against adding new coastal steel capacity, Kallanish notes.
