China to reduce stainless exports to Russia: association
Russian stainless steel imports rose in March and the main supplier was China, says national special steel association USSA.
Russia increased imports of stainless steel in March to 34,770 tonnes, up by 14.8% compared with February, Kallanish notes.
March imports of stainless cold rolled flat products increased 29.7% on-month, but hot rolled flats fell by 7.7%.
Russia increased imports of stainless steel in 2020 to 383,200t, up by 3.8% on-year.
