China Steel orders slab caster upgrade

Taiwan’s China Steel Corporation (CSC) has contracted Primetals to upgrade a continuous slab caster at its Kaohsiung plant, the engineering firm tells Kallanish. The upgraded caster is due to recommence production in mid-2018.
