China sets priorities for 2017 steel elimination campaign
China has set three priorities for its 2017 steel capacity elimination, according to a National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) meeting on reducing overcapacity in the steel and coal mining industries on 27 March. China aims to cut 50 million tonnes/year of steel capacity in the country, excluding mislabelled capacity.
