China dominates Turkey's March HR flats imports
Turkey’s imports and exports of hot-rolled (HR) flat steel increased in March, show Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
Intake rose 3% on-year to 481,246 tonnes, at an average price of $651/tonne. Meanwhile, exports surged by 60% to 257,881t, at an average price of $710/t. The trade balance in the HR flat steel segment remained negative in March, Kallanish notes.
