China to make Indonesia third largest stainless steelmaker
China's investments in ferronickel and stainless steel production could allow Indonesia to become one of the main stainless steel-producing countries in the world. The world's largest steel producer so far has commissioned over 2.613 million tonnes/year of nickel pig iron or ferronickel capacity in Indonesia.
