Hebei province fines polluting steelmakers

Hebei province’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) revealed on the 23 May that it has imposed administrative penalties on 32 steel companies, with a total value of CNY 21.4 million ($3m). The government is showing its determination to control pollution with this move, Kallanish notes.
