China asks for WTO support against USA, EU
China has requested consultations at the World Trade Organisation (WTO) with the USA and European Union regarding 'special calculation methodologies' in anti-dumping investigations, according to the WTO. The methodologies in question are understood to be the use of a third country to determine fair value, a practice China claims should have ended on 11 December as it has Market Economy Status (MES), Kallanish notes.
