Chile’s CSH sees first-quarter production, sales fall
Chile-based CAP Group's steelmaking arm, Compañía Siderúrgica Huachipato (CSH), saw its production and sales fall both quarter-on-quarter and year-on-year in the first three months of 2024, Kallanish learns from the company's latest earnings report.
CSH’s long steel production amounted to 146,533 tonnes in January-March, down 14.3% compared with 170,977t in Q4 2023. This volume was 10.6% weaker on-year.
