Chengde Jianlong hires Danieli for automation upgrade
China’s Chengde Jianlong, part of Jianlong Group, has hired Danieli to help boost automation and intelligent manufacturing at its special bar plant. Jianlong aims to make its Chengde plant its first intelligent manufacturing steelworks, Kallanish notes.
Danieli says the project should be completed in eighteen months and will cover measurement tools for thirteen processes including steelmaking, casting and rolling.
