Chelpipe’s 2020 earnings, sales fall on Covid-19 impact
Russian pipemaker Chelpipe saw earnings drop in 2020 due to lower shipments as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic impact on the economy, the company says.
The company’s revenue amounted to RUB 138 billion ($1.87 billion), down 28.2% on-year, with net profit falling 37.2% to RUB 6.25 billion. Ebitda decreased by 10.4% to RUB 28.5 billion. However, profitability rose 4.1 percentage points to 20.7% in 2020.
