Chelpipe upgrades line for nuclear plant pipe
Russian pipemaker Chelpipe is implementing a project to modernise equipment for the manufacture of seamless pipe from corrosion-resistant steels with an increased surface quality. These are intended for structural elements of nuclear power plants, the company says.
As part of the project, a LOESER grinding complex was put into operation at the Pervouralsk Novotrubny Plant.
Total investments amounted to more than RUB 160 million ($2.2m), Kallanish notes.
