Celsa reduces Barcelona works’ output by 50%
Celsa, the Spanish-headquartered long products supplier, is preparing to reduce output at its flagship electric arc furnace-based mill by -50%, Kallanish understands from sources close to the company.
This week, the Spanish government ordered most industrial activity to stop to further limit the spread of the coronavirus. However, it gave steelmakers and some other industrial producers the possibility to continue operating, provided safety measures are in place.
