Virus fails to affect Celsa Norway output: sources
The output of the EAF-based longs producer Celsa in Norway has not been affected by the coronavirus outbreak across Europe, Kallanish learns from local sources.
The Celsa Nordic plant can produce over 800,000 tonnes/year of crude steel from recycled scrap and was acquired by the Spanish-headquartered group in 2007. The company employs over 300 people and layoffs have not been applied to the workforce in the current pandemic.
