Coke dry quenching may enable Formosa Q1 restart
Vietnam’s Formosa Ha Tinh steelworks has made a number of new investments to clean up its act after being blamed for releasing waste water that killed millions of fish, according to a new government report. This includes installation of coke dry quenching technology by the end of March 2017, which could allow it to resume steelmaking, Kallanish notes.
