California Steel partners with Primetals for Fontana upgrades
California Steel Industries has enlisted industrial services company Primetals Technologies to upgrade its hot-strip mill and continuous galvanizing line in Fontana, California, Kallanish learns from a Primetals release.
The galvanizing line upgrade is slated to be complete by mid-2020, while the hot-strip upgrade will be completed by mid-2022. Financial terms were not disclosed.
