Brazil's steel output rises in October
Brazil continued increasing its steel production year-on-year in October, Kallanish learns from data issued by local steelmakers’ association Instituto Aço Brasil (IAB).
During January-October crude steel production reached 29.2 million tonnes, representing an increase of 2.6% compared to the same period of 2017. In the tenth month alone, crude steel output totalled 3.1mt, up 3.5% y-o-y.
