Brazil steelmakers expect improvement after June export rebound
Brazilian steelmakers, currently operating at 48.5% of capacity, expect a gradual recovery in activity in the second half of 2020. The country’s steel exports decreased year-on-year in June but improved significantly versus May, Kallanish learns from data issued by local steelmakers’ association Instituto Aço Brasil (IAB).
