Brazil's steel imports rise in November
Brazilian steel imports continued to increase in year-to-date through November, Kallanish learns from data issued by local steelmakers’ association Instituto Aço Brasil (IAB).
During January-November steel imports rose by 2.9% compared to the same period of 2017 to 2.24 million tonnes. In November alone, imports of steel were 3.6% more year-on-year at 172,000t.
