Brazil’s steel exports drop, imports rise in November
Brazil saw steel exports fall on-month in November, while imports moved up, Kallanish notes. Traded volumes remained weaker when compared to the same period last year.
According to local steelmakers’ association Instituto Aço Brasil (IAB)’s latest data, November exports decreased 10.3% on-month and were 15.5% less on-year at 813,802 tonnes.
