Brazil’s October semis exports, imports jump
Brazilian exports of semi-finished products sharply increased month-on-month and year-on-year in October. Monthly imports were also higher, Kallanish notes.
According to the latest Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic) data, semis shipments abroad amounted to 916,000 tonnes in October, a growth of almost 246,000t from September and 20.8% higher versus the same month last year.
