Brazil’s December steel production falls, registers weaker 2022

Brazil saw steel production fall in 2022 as an effect of the high base in 2021. The latter was characterised by the strong post-Covid resumption in demand, replenishment of stocks, and additional build-up in stocks in some segments due to the acceleration of international prices.
