Brazil’s CSP fails to lift June slab exports
Brazilian slab producer Companhia Siderúrgica do Pecém (CSP)’s shipments fell in June and during the first half of 2020. June exports rose, however, when compared to May, according to local port authority data monitored by Kallanish.
CSP’s June slab exports reached 218,837 tonnes, -15.6% lower on-year. Shipments aboard, nevertheless, were up by 25.6% over the volume of 174,222t exported in May. Six-month slab exports reached 1,326,610t. T…
