Brazil`s CSP slab exports remain low in February
Brazilian slab producer Companhia Siderúrgica do Pecém (CSP) saw its shipments fall slightly year-on-year in the first two months of 2020, according to data issued by the local port authority.
CSP January-February slab exports reached 466,632 tonnes, or just -0.5% less on-year compared to 469,123t in the same period of 2019. In February alone, these reached 231,538t or 13.1% higher on-year, but down by -1.7% versus January volumes, Kallanish notes.
