Brazil`s CSP renews environmental license
Brazilian slab producer Companhia Siderúrgica do Pecém (CSP) has received its renewed operating license from the Ceara state environmental authority (Semace), Kallanish learns from a local government statement.
The company’s environmental operating license is now valid until May 2026. The document was signed on 29 May after CSP fulfilled with all requirements set out in the Brazilian environmental legislation, the steelmaker says.
