Brazilian government grants tax incentives to CSP
Brazilian slab producer Companhia Siderúrgica do Pecém (CSP) is to receive government fiscal incentives, Kallanish learns from a statement by the local ministry of national integration.
CSP will benefit from a reduction of 75% in corporate income tax for a period of 10 years, the authorities say. The steelmaker will have to reinvest 30% of the value of this reduction in the mill, the ministry adds.
