Brazil’s CSP lowers slab exports in September
Brazilian slab producer Companhia Siderúrgica do Pecém (CSP) saw its shipments decrease both year-on-year and on-month in September. Cumulative exports also remained down in the first nine months of 2019, Kallanish learns from data issued by the local port authority.
In September alone, shipments reached 212,439 tonnes, down -2.7% compared to the same period in 2018. This volume was also 13,170t less than in August 2019.
