Brazil’s automotive sector reduces production growth forecast
Brazil’s automotive industry saw performance fall in June, according to local automotive association Associação Nacional dos Fabricantes de Veículos Automotores (Anfavea) data monitored by Kallanish.
With the global semiconductors shortage continuing, the sector has downgraded its 2021 production growth forecast from 25% to 22% on-year, amounting to 2.46 million vehicles.
