Brazilian steelmakers’ association names new president
Marcos Eduardo Faraco has been elected as the new president of Brazilian steelmakers’ association Instituto Aço Brasil (IAB), Kallanish notes. He replaces Sergio Leite de Andrade. The mandate is for two years.
Faraco is the vice president of Gerdau Aços Brasil, Argentina and Uruguay.
IAB has also appointed Jefferson De Paula, ceo of ArcelorMittal Aços Longos Latam and Mineração Brasil, as vice president.
