Samarco awaits last survey for reopening deadline
Brazilian iron ore miner and pellet producer Samarco could restart production in July or August, Kallanish learns from the State Council for Environmental Policy in Minas Gerais (COPAM).
According COPAM, the company co-owned by Vale Brazil and Australia`s BHP Billiton, will be able to resume operations after they complete all the legal requirements.
