Brazilian mills attempt to lift flats prices again
Brazilian flat steel producers are set to increase offers for domestic end-users and distributors in November, according to BTG Pactual bank analysts.
CSN, Usiminas and ArcelorMittal Brazil are expected to raise flat steel prices between 10% and 12% depending on the product. This should be the fourth increase in 2020 and, if confirmed, levels would be up by almost 40% on-year, Kallanish notes.
