Brazilian flats' sales drop, imports competitive
Brazil`s flat products sales from distributors and service centres suffered a serious drop in February, Kallanish understands from the latest data released by the distributors association Inda.
Sales by distributors fell -11.3% year-on-year to 215,500 tonnes in February. This is the worst performance for February since 2008. A month-on-month comparison shows that the decrease was -9.8%.
