Brazilian flat steel sales drop in June
Brazil’s distributors saw their flat steel sales fall month-on-month in June, Kallanish notes. The sector, however, is optimistic that these will increase again in July on the same basis, says steel distribution trade association Inda.
Both flat product sales and purchases from distributors and service centres in Brazil are set to grow by 8% on-month in July, according to the Inda forecast.
