Brazilian automotive production dips by 29.3% in January
The Brazilian automotive industry continues to struggle in January, recording a -29.3% decrease in output year-on-year to 145,064 units, Kallanish learns from Brazilian automotive manufacturers group Anfavea. Automotive exports continue to grow however, marking a 37% increase y-o-y to 22,247 units in January.
The automotive output in the first month of 2016 was almost 50,000 units lower on-year compared to 2015.
