May trucker strike hits Brazilian automotive output
The Brazilian automotive industry’s performance was weaker in May due to the truckers' strike in the country. According to automotive association Associação Nacional dos Fabricantes de Veículos Automotores (Anfavea) the sector saw production volumes decrease year-on-year after eighteen consecutive months of growth.
