Brazil steel performance seen growing in 2023: IAB
Brazilian steel production and consumption could continue to improve in 2023. The sector’s performance should grow significantly this year when compared to the pre-Covid period, according to local steelmakers’ association Instituto Aço Brasil's (IAB) latest outlook monitored by Kallanish. Brazil’s steel production and consumption, however, will drop on-year in 2022 following the atypical growth observed in 2021.
