Brazil`s steel imports/exports drop in November
Brazil's steel trade decelerated both year-on-year and cumulatively during November, Kallanish learns from data issued by local steelmakers’ association Instituto Aço Brasil (IAB).
Steel imports fell -25.6% to 128,000 tonnes in November. Flat steel arrivals totalled only 68,000t, or -37.6% lower y-o-y, while long steel imports were 32,000t, down by -8.6% y-o-y. The total value of these imports was -23.5% less on-year at $156 million …
