Brazil pig iron export prices stabilise
Brazilian export prices for pig iron are stable at the beginning of August. Local production is growing, although exports were lower on poor demand from Mexican and the US markets during last month, Kallanish learns from local market participants.
According to sources, the average pig iron export price is at $385-390/tonne fob Brazil at the beginning of August.
