Brazil leads LatAm monthly steel exports to US
Latin America saw steel exports to the US decrease month-on-month but climb year-on-year in May.
The growth from the prior year was mainly attributed to greater supply from Brazil, which had a 58.7% share of Latin America's total steel shipments. The country was the leading steel exporter to the US from the region and the second-largest worldwide after Canada in May, Kallanish notes.
