Borusan Mannesmenn wins pipe supply deal in Mexico
Turkey's Borusan Mannesmann Boru (BMB) has won a tender to supply pipes for the Tuxpan-Tula natural gas pipeline project in Mexico, the pipemaker says in a bourse filing seen by Kallanish.
The $33 million deal envisages the supply of 24.5m and 12m long 36-inch diameter pipes to the port of Tuxpan in Mexico. BMB will produce the pipes in July and August at its spiral welded pipe plant in Gemlik and start shipments from July.
